Review: Donna Grant's DARK ALPHA'S NEED

Torin is a Reaper, an elite solider for Death. He and fellow Reaper, Aisling, are tasked to find Breda and question her. They need the information she can provide about the Others. There is just something about Breda that calms the rage inside Torin. Can he protect her from the Others?

Breda is a dark fae. She tries to evade the Others from dragging her back into their fold. Breda encounters Torin and Aisling while hiding. She decides to take her chances with the Reapers by providing them information. Can Breda trust Torin with her secrets? What sacrifices will she make to be with him?

Okay, I really like the fact that Breda is an empath. It is something rarely used in books outside of high fantasy genre. I like how Breda sees her gift as a curse than a gift.

DARK ALPHA’S NEED is book twelve in Donna Grant’s paranormal romance series, REAPERS. It is necessary to read the prior books to better understand the series’ overall plot. We learn a little more about the new grouping of Others forming amongst the Fae.

Review: Satoru's DOING HIS BEST TO CONFESS, Volume 1

Natsuaki is a popular and handsome high school student. He is especially popular with the girls. Natsuaki always wears an impassive expression on his face. This makes it difficult for him to show his interest in his classmate, Nashida. Natsuaki spends most of his time in his head, figuring out the best way to confess to her.

Okay, I really like the role reversal here. Instead of the girl crushing on a popular guy. We get a popular guy crushing on a girl.  I love how oblivious Natsuaki is to his popularity. He does not seem aware of his female classmates’ interest in him.

The storyline is on the light and cute side.

There is nothing wrong with that. I practically whipped through it easily.
