Review: Yakuza Lover

 

Yuri wants nothing more to find a boyfriend. However, she is not settling for just any guy. Yuri encounters Oya at a party – where he not only rescues her from an unwanted situation, but he steals her heart.

Oya is yakuza. He is no lower ranking boss. Oya sees Yuri standing defiantly while protecting a friend, and it was love at first sight. So when Yuri approaches him later, he knows he cannot let her go.

Oya is no hero. He shows Yuri is possessive yet sweet side. There is little he would not do for her. Okay, I just like the way he's drawn too. Something about it simply draws me in.

 

I have been eyeing this manga for a while… If you want a wholesome, sweet read, this series is not for you. There are a good deal of sexy scenes in this volume.

I will definitely be checking out the next volume!
